Welcome to the EFR Library!

The library is open to:

• Researchers and faculty members;

• PhD students;

• Master's students working in the subject areas covered by the library's collections.

Documents required for registration and renewal

• Registration and re-registration form

• PhD diploma or professional card for faculty members and researchers

• Proof of enrollment in a doctoral or Master's program + a letter of introduction from your research supervisor for PhD and Master's students

For renewals, only the registration/re-registration form is required.

These documents must be sent by email to bibliotheque.direction@efrome.it and accueil.bibliotheque@efrome.it at least one week before your desired visit date.

The registration service is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

We kindly ask our users to indicate their desired date and time for registration or re-registration in their email, as this helps facilitate the flow of visitors at the Palazzo Farnese.

Please note: You must wait for a response from the library before coming to the Palazzo Farnese.

Lost card : please contact accueil.bibliotheque@efrome.it as soon as possible.

Registration and renewal fees

•      30 euros for 12 full months              
•      10 euros for one month  
•      5 euros to reprint a card (forgotten or lost)  
•      Free entry for a period not exceeding one week and only once a year
