IT charter at the École française de Rome

The IT charter of the École française de Rome was adopted by the board of directors on September 17, 2020. The establishment hereby brings this charter to the attention of users accessing the resources of its information system.

This charter defines the rules of use and safety that the establishment and users undertake to respect: it specifies the rights and duties of each.

The "information system" covers all the hardware, software, applications, databases and local telecommunication networks, as well as those which can be accessed remotely or in waterfall methodology from the network of the École française de Rome. Nomadic computing (personal assistants, laptops, cell phones, etc.) is also one of the constituent parts of the information system.

The proper functioning of the information system presupposes compliance with legislative and regulatory provisions, in particular compliance with the rules aimed at ensuring security, processing performance and data retention.
